Dr. John Dearborn is an orthopaedic surgeon and joint replacement specialist in practice since 1997. He is the West Coast pioneer for joint replacement specialty centers, founding the Center for Joint Replacement at Washington Hospital in 1999. His approach has been widely emulated across the country. Dr. Dearborn’s rapid recovery protocols, combined with less invasive surgical techniques, have made same-day discharge following hip and knee replacement commonplace in the Bay Area.
